Reviewer: A music fan from Britin Ella Fitzgerald was most definitely a diva in her time and in my account still is today. This cd epitomises everything she represented. This album is exactly as it says, 'Essential' Ella. It contains classics such as Lets fall in love and Mac the knife. I'd recommend it to everyone, especially Frank Sinatra fans such as myself. It's not only a classic collection of her greatest songs but a marvelous representation of her what she stood for... Jazz and a whole lotta soul! Enjoy!

Reviewer: A music fan from Bristol, UK I bought this CD because it reminded me of the early and mid-70's. The music of the Carpenters was the first I'd ever heard and had quite an impact on me. This is pop music as it should be. Simple, catchy, memorable tunes that can be uplifting and moving. You'd be hard pressed to find an equal to the Carpenters in the charts these days. There's a refreshing innocence reflected in this music, although many of the tracks are tinged with a deep, underlying sadness. There's something for everyone here.
